The Competition’s own portal
EnviroPort
Registration, clarifications, memorials, objections, the Assessment and Compendia, in one place.
Registration
Provisional Registration gives your institution an Enviro Pass. Final Registration enters your team and gives you a Team Code at once.
Provisional Registration
Optional and free. For the institution: its head, faculty coordinator and student representatives. Your Enviro Pass is issued at once.
Final Registration
For the team. Quote your Enviro Pass, find it by name, or register without one. Your Team Code is allotted the moment you submit.
How the two registrations fit together, the fee and the bank details
Prop Clarification Desk
Up to seven queries a team, on the facts of the Moot Proposition only. Queries on the law or the merits are not answered, and nothing sent by e-mail is answered. The Clarifications are released to all teams together.
What you need
- Your Team Code and EnviroPort key, from your registration e-mail
- One question per query, on the facts only, at most seven
Memorial Vault
Both memorials, each in .docx and PDF. A file that is wrongly named, in the wrong format or of 3 MB or more is turned away. The first submission is final, and every member receives a receipt.
What you need
- Four files: the .docx and the PDF for each side, each under 3 MB
- Named with your Team Code, an underscore and P or R, such as 20PB214_P
- Author and organisation fields cleared
- The declaration under Rules 15 and 16
Penalty Objection Desk
See each penalty proposed on your Provisional Penalty Sheet and object to any of them: the breach did not occur, the Rule was misread or misapplied, or the marks were miscalculated. An objection cannot cure a breach.
What you need
- Your Team Code and EnviroPort key
- The penalty you object to, and your ground
RP Assessment Hall
The Research and Procedure Assessment, sat by the Researcher alone under remote proctoring, camera and microphone on. Twenty-five multiple-choice questions, of which any twenty are answered, and one long answer, for 40 marks. A practice paper, which carries no marks, opens on 21 and 22 November.
What you need
- A laptop with a working camera and microphone, on Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox
- Your ID card, and a phone propped to your side on the invigilation meeting
- The Hall pass e-mailed to your Researcher
- A quiet room, and no aid of any kind
Compendium Shelf
For the virtual rounds, one PDF for each side, at most 100 pages and 5 MB, opening with an index. Screens cannot be shared, so an authority not in your Compendium cannot be relied on.
What you need
- Two PDFs named with your Team Code, an underscore and CP or CR, such as 20PB214_CP and 20PB214_CR
- No identifying marks, library stamps or database account names
Orals Dashboard
For qualifying teams only: your fixtures, sides and joining links for the Preliminary Rounds and Quarter-finals, and your results as they are declared.
What you need
- Your Team Code and EnviroPort key
- A display name with your Team Code, role and category, such as 20PB214 - S1 (M)
Travel and Stay
For the four semi-finalists: confirm, pay the participation fee and send travel details. Award winners outside the semi-finalists send their travel form here too.
What you need
- The participation fee receipt
- Travel details for every member
- Tickets, handed in at the registration desk on arrival
